A Boone County-based gospel group will celebrate the release of its debut album with a special performance at Rumble Community Baptist Church on Jan. 7. The Sycomores, who play a self-described "Americana Gospel" brand of music, boast nine new original songs and one re-imaging of a gospel classic.
